Well here it is, I am certainly not the first, nor the last, do decide to start a blog after seeing Julie & Julia.
I have no idea where this will go, or how it will end, but it will be a pretty fun ride on the way. So join me, on my journey, from Ontario to Saskatchewan, from comfort and security to the unknown and terrifying.
Now let me clarify, I have in fact been in Saskatchewan for over a year now, but that does not make this wonderful place any less terrifying than it was the day I crossed the border. And with my second prairie winter in full swing, and me still not knowing how to properly drive in ruts, this should prove to be an exciting few months.
But first, one of my most favourite things about prairie winters, the hoar frost.
I had never before seen anything like this and look forward to the days when it magically appears on tree branches and power lines all over the city.
